Talal Ali Ahmad, President and Founder

Talal is an industry leader in the integration of VoIP into carrier and enterprise infrastructures, and brings his vision of the future of IP to vCentrix. Prior to vCentrix, Talal directed the Network Engineering and IP Technology organizations at iBasis, the first commercial IP telephony carrier. At iBasis, he was responsible for the network architecture design as well as managing technical customer support for the iBasis global network that extended to over fifty sites. Previously, Talal was VP of Operations for Worldwide Broadcasting Network, a video broadcast network over IP. In this role, Talal was responsible for the day-to-day operations and IP Video network expansion of the company.

Don Lake, COO and Founder

Don has over 25 years of experience in management, business development, and technology evaluation and planning for IP, fiber and wireless networks. Prior to vCentrix, Mr. Lake directed the sales and integration of wireless products at C2C Fiber; was a partner in Mystis Solutions, a management and technology consulting firm; and directed the build and operation of the Internet and data services division for super regional carrier Network Plus including six Internet data centers. Prior to Network Plus, Mr. Lake served as Director of Network Management for NEON Communications, a leading network provider specializing in the construction and operation of fiber optic networks.
